	The Butterfly Place When we moved to Asheboro, NC, our new home had no butterflies. Now, we have a plush garden full of host and nectar plants for many species. We call our garden "The Butterfly Place", where we enjoy their beauty and their magic. Butterfly Place Books Several years ago I was inspired by an occurrence while working as a volunteer in the Butterfly Garden at the North Carolina Zoo. My desire was to write an educational book for children and adults that would explain the truth about butterflies and how they come to be. After many years of thought and creation, my dream of becoming an author has finally come true!
